I chose our logo in September 2002 as a triangle with circles coming into it. The triangle represents the strongest geometric form (on the body that would be your heart) with the circles representing bringing people into their strength.
I believe massage connects one to your heart. Our heart is where we find truth. What you put into your heart is up to you.
Making a decision upon ‘how does this make me feel’ will not necessarily lead you to truth and can get you into a self-centered personality that cannot keep or work within relationships. Our heart has an innate intelligence that is higher than our feelings and has the ability to be ‘less right’ so others can grow.
I believe when we work on our heart in finding truth and developing our maturity with people through compassion when we come in for massage the LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist) moves that work throughout the body helping to heal cell memory in forgiving and letting go.
Nothing can stay chronic within your body without an emotional attachment. Emotions become a glue that causes injury to build upon the negative and stop or greatly slow down healing. If you do your heart work, many times your body will just sigh on the massage table as the LMT moves the blood within the body letting these emotions leave and healing begins to be completed.
That ‘sense of well being’ you feel after your massage is the first step in this healing.
